Victorian House Remodel

This was  a fun project. We started with an 1886 Victorian house with 13’ ceilings, elaborate millwork, plaster crowns and rosettes, (4) original fireplace surrounds 8’ tall, heart pine floors, and a lot of hidden surprises. We remodeled the existing 50’s modern kitchen and bathrooms, and restored the rest of the house. The work included repairing the plaster walls, refinishing the heart pine floors, building a completely new kitchen and new bedrooms, moving all (4) fire place surrounds, sandblasting and refinishing the exterior, and replacing the roof.  We removed the original 1886 light fixtures , restored them, and reinstalled them.  We created a new library with all new cabinetry. We relocated several of the original hand made 6 paneled doors. We added (3) new custom exterior doors to match the existing. The project was finished on schedule in 3 months.
